Poppies may have been a trap for Dorothy, sending her into a deep slumber and thwarting her journey to the Land of Oz, but Kenzo’s flower bed installations in Toulouse, France invigorate us with a cheerful joie de vivre. The man-made field of 200,000 poppies displayed in the center of Place du Capitole make us want to frolic until we are dizzy. The fragrant public art will pop up September 4th and 5th to promote Kenzo’s scent for women, “Flower.”
